A federal judge is dismissing a lawsuit that was filed against Kellie Pickler.  A North Carolina man, who is now facing several charges in connection to a September mass shooting that left three people dead, filed the suit against the singer, claiming she poisoned him.  Nigel Max Edge accused Pickler of handing him a poisoned glass of Jim Beam during a date to the CMT Awards over a decade ago.  The judge dismissed the case calling the claims "nonsensical and delusional" and finding that the lawsuit "fails to plausibly allege a violation of a law." Edge, who changed his name from Sean DeBevoise in 2023, walked the CMT red carpet with Pickler and his service dog, Rusty in 2012. The pair met at a charity event for wounded soldiers.  Edge is facing three counts of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder, and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon after opening fire at the American Fish Company restaurant in Southport Yacht Basin on September 27th, leaving three people dead and five others injured.

Cody Johnson is off the road through the end of the year due to an "immediate surgery."  Johnson's ear drum recently ruptured while the singer was battling a severe upper respiratory and sinus infection and he was forced to undergo immediate surgery.  Johnson says that the healing process will take many weeks and it's not possible for him to sing during this time. Concertgoers will have their tickets refunded.
