Country Drummer Shot and Killed in TN

American Idol singer Alex Miller's camp is reeling this week following a shooting.  Miller's longtime drummer Mark Laws is dead after being shot and killed by his stepson in Tennessee.  The incident happened on Sunday when Laws and 25 year-old Maxwell Madon got into an argument after Madon assaulted his grandfather.  Madon has been charged with criminal homicide, but more charges are expected. Laws worked as Miller's drummer and band leader for five years. Alex Miller first gained recognition on season 19 of American IdolHe was invited by Eddie Montgomery to perform at the Grand Ol' Opry last summer, just days before Miller (with Laws on drums) performed at the Wayne County Fair. Taylor Swift Subpoenaed

Taylor Swift is being subpoenaed in the ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. The issues revolve around accusations of sexual harassment, retaliation and defamation in connection to the filming of "It Ends With Us."  Baldoni's legal team is naming Swift as a witness, alleging that the singer was present when the actors were talking about a scene at the beginning of the film. According to the lawsuit, Baldoni claims Swift and Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds approved of her suggested changes to a scene and he was pressured to accept the revisions.  However, a spokesperson said Swift “never set foot on the set of this movie. She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film.”
