MORGAN IS OFFICIALLY "BIGGER" THAN GARTH

Morgan Wallen just toppled one of Garth Brooks seemingly impossible records. He’s now spent the most time at #1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart at 174 weeks. Garth’s still hanging in there at a respectable 173. Morgan’s 75th time at the top with One Thing at a Time clinches the record for him. Additionally he has spent 97 weeks at #1 with Dangerous: The Double Album. In the chart’s 61-year history, it’s the record that’s spent the most time at the top. By comparison, Garth's No Fences clocked 41 weeks back in 1990 and 1991. Honorable mentions go to Alabama with 125 weeks, Willie Nelson with 107, and Taylor Swift with 101.

Eric Church Buys Land for Hurricane Victims

Eric Church is buying land in North Carolina for Hurricane Helene victims.  The North Carolina native purchased property outside of Newland in support of his rebuilding efforts.  Plans are being drawn to build 40 homes on the plot along with a community center and a walking trail. Last fall, Hurricane Helene ravaged much of the southeast, claiming lives and displacing many from their homes. People in states like Florida, Georgia and South Carolina were impacted; Church has concentrated his efforts on hard-hit North Carolina, which is his home state.
